Philosophy

Artistic Vision

Through the familiar images from VHS boxes and movie stills, I hope to connect with a shared nostalgia. Adding embellishments from the craft and textile industries creating a sort of altar to the art and characters.

Creative Process

My pieces are created using glue, glitter, sequins, sand, paint, ink, and pencil. The embellishments can be applied meticulously to cardboard (VHS cases) or wood. Some pieces I use vintage and antique frames, adding a kitchy layer of the past.
